About Warewolf Labs

First founded in 1997 (as Warewolf Computing), Warewolf Labs has been providing various computer-related services to homes and businesses throughout the Southern California area.

Originally, Warewolf Computing provided custom-built multi-monitor/multiprocessor/RAID-enabled workstations for specialized vertical markets (real time stock market analysis, CAD/blueprint visualization for the construction industry, etc.); our combination of features, performance, and pricing were unmatched by traditional top-tier computer resellers.

Our scope of services expanded with time to provide on-site service and support during normal business hours, as well as on a 24-hour emergency basis; additionally, we branched into graphic and web design, including the creation of banner ads which ran on high profile websites such as AltaVista, LeadersOnline (now Heidrick & Struggles Management Search) and Vault.

Over the past several years, the focus of our work has shifted towards information security projects and research. A primer on information security issues originally intended for academia was freely released to the public at large, in recognition of both the criticality of these issues, as well as a general lack of suitable material intended for consumption by the general public.
